Main Article Content
Abstract
Learning Management Systems (LMS) play an important role in supporting the learning process in higher education institutions in line with developments in information technology. This study aims to analyze the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) by third-semester students in the Educational Administration Study Program at Muhammadiyah University Bogor Raya and to determine the level of effectiveness and efficiency of LMS in supporting academic activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were selected purposively, namely students who already had experience using LMS. The results showed that LMS has been actively used and has become part of students' academic activities, especially for administrative learning needs. Most students are able to operate LMS independently, such as managing accounts and courses. However, the utilization of LMS is not yet optimal because it still focuses on basic functions, and there are technical obstacles, internet network limitations, and a lack of usage guidelines. This study concludes that the use of LMS has been quite successful in supporting the learning process, but there is still a need to improve the use of interactive features so that LMS can function optimally as a digital learning medium.
