Abstract

This research is motivated by the low efficiency of student navigation on conventional linear digital learning platforms. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of a hierarchical Learning Management System (LMS) structure as a learning medium in the Educational Administration course. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) involving 35 third-semester students as research subjects at a university. Data were collected through system observations, in-depth interviews, and analysis of LMS development results. Statistical tests showed a strong correlation between the hierarchical structure and user satisfaction (r = 0.72). It is concluded that hierarchical content organization can reduce cognitive load and increase student learning independence. These findings recommend the standardization of information architecture in LMS to support the effectiveness of digital learning administration
