Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Learning Management System (LMS) as a digital learning medium in higher aducation. The development of digital technology has encouraged aducational instutions to use Lms to support more flexible and effective learning processes. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were students who actively use Lms in their learning activities. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews and observations to explore their experiences, benefits, amd challenges in using lms. The results indicate that lms are primarily used to access learning materials, submit assignments, and take online quizzes. Students considered Lms to facilitate independent learning, time management, and ease of access to learning.  However, several obstacles were identified, such as technical issues, Limited understanding of Lms features, and low participation in discussion forums. This study concludes that Lms have great potential as effective digital learning media if supported by adequate media if supported by adequate facilities and optimal feature utilizion.
