Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the effectiveness of digital technology use in improving student learning motivation at SDN Barengkok 01. In the dynamic era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, technology integration is crucial in the transformation process of primary education in Indonesia. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (Non-equivalent Control Group Design). The subjects consisted of 30 second and third grade students who were systematically divided into an experimental group (digital media users) and a control group (conventional methods). Data were collected through a Likert-scale learning motivation questionnaire and direct classroom observation. The results showed a significant difference in the final score (post-test), where the experimental group achieved an average score of 88.40, far exceeding the control group with an average of 74.20. Statistical tests showed a p value <0.05, proving that digital media effectively increases student learning motivation. In conclusion, digital transformation in primary schools has a significant positive impact on student engagement, but requires teacher pedagogical readiness and adequate infrastructure support.
